Thai Acrylic Fibre (TAF) – part of Aditya Birla Group and China-based Dezhou Huayuan Eco-Technology (Dezhou Huayuan) have launched a new range of yarns with Radianza fibre at the recent Yarn Expo in Intertextile Shanghai. Radianza fibre has gained popularity among the yarn spinners making specialty yarns for sweater application for the last 2-3 years.

TAF is one of the largest manufacturers of acrylic fibres in the world with more than 14 different types of specialty fibres. Radianza – ready-to-use dyeing using gel dyed technology – is one of the most environment friendly fibre as it eliminates the needs for yarn or fabric dyeing later in the process. Dyeing process is one of the most pollution is one of the most hazardous process among all the textile processes as it consumes large quantities of water, energy and discharges unused dye into the environment, thereby polluting land and water reserves. Dezhou Huayuan is a modern textile company in China, specializing in developing and producing new and innovative yarns.

“Radianza has given us a lot of flexibility to develop a wide range of shades and hues given the large number of colors it is available in. Our customers are looking for products that don’t cause pollution and we have got very encouraging response from our customers for these new yarns. We will develop different kinds of yarns with Radianza in addition to what we have done for innerwear and fleece applications,” Li YuBing, general manager, Dezhou Huayuan, said. (RR)
